Chapter 2: I get by with a little help from my friends!

As preparation for this book, over the last 50 years, I have been collecting and collating over 100 sayings/quotations/comments about what “friendship” means to different people.  Some famous, some not so famous.  Some favourites, some not. Many will make you smile, some will make you cry. Here they are “in no particular order” (as Phillip Schofield would say).
